The 2024 Christmas at Cliffy’s CFA Fundraiser Raffle is now on sale!

 

This year, we have another bumper prize pool - over $16,000! Along with a fantastic early bird prize for all tickets purchased before midnight on Sunday, 15th December. If you are the lucky Early Bird winner, you will be receiving a wonderful 2-night accommodation package at the Daylesford Hotel, dinner for two at the Daylesford Hotel and breakfast at Cliffy’s plus a bunch of cool merch! Valued at over $800.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community and visitors, last year’s Cliffy’s CFA Christmas Raffle has already made a meaningful difference to our local CFA. Every dollar raised has been allocated to a vital project that strengthens our community’s emergency response and supports our brave CFA volunteers. 

Here’s a closer look at the impact:

Supporting a New Forward Command Vehicle Last year’s funds are currently earmarked for an exciting initiative: the replacement of the Glenlyon Group’s 10-year-old Forward Command Vehicle (FCV), a critical tool for rapid response in emergencies. This 4x4 vehicle acts as a mobile command centre, helping the Strike Team Leader direct and communicate with tankers and the Incident Controller. It enables real-time decisions on how to deploy resources efficiently and safely, especially during bushfires or major incidents. The new FCV, once acquired, will be fitted with all necessary equipment—lights, sirens, radios, and specialised storage—thanks to contributions from both our community and grant funding. If the grant application is successful, Cliffy’s contribution will help cover the remaining costs of this crucial vehicle. If not, our raised funds will still go directly to support local brigades with essential equipment needs. 

Why Your Contribution Matters

The CFA does not fund the Forward Command Vehicle; it relies entirely on local fundraising, and your support makes it possible for our brigades to operate safely and effectively. If this year’s raffle can help finalise the purchase, it will have an immediate impact on the safety and preparedness of our CFA teams and the security of our community. This year, we are using a third-party platform, RaffleLink, to manage all raffle sales. This helps reduce the administration for us, ensure that the raffle follows all legal requirements and, more importantly, helps us raise even more funds. By clicking on the above link, you will be transferred to our page on RaffleLink. Your data is super safe as will your purchase. You will immediately receive a receipt for all raffle ticket purchases and any donations. You will then receive your ticket electronically via email as well (although sometimes this can take up to an hour depending on processing times however your ticket purchase is valid and recorded from time of purchase.)
